Baby Potty Training

Baby:Potty Training

Working women face more problems than housewives after giving birth to their babies. Working mothers are privileged to take maternity leaves during their pregnancy, but they have to join their jobs after the delivery. Some times it becomes very difficult for working mothers to take good care of their newborns. As we all know that a newborn needs more attention from mother. Mothers are also advised to spend more time with their babies, but working women get very little time for their newborns.

Anyway this is beyond the topic of this article, so let's come to our main topic which is “Potty Training”.

Potty Training:

Toileting or using the potty is one of the most basic physical needs of young kids. There is no age limit for when you should start teaching your baby how to use toilet/potty. Usually babies start using toilet between 9 months and two years of age. There are, indeed, many opinions about how and when children should learn to use the toilet independently.

According to some experts the methods used to potty training may have major emotional effects on children as well. Almost all experts agree that the entire process, from diapering infants to teaching small kids and preschoolers about using the toilet, should be a positive one.

The purpose of potty training is to help children gain control of their body functions. There may be times during the potty training process when children accidentally go in their diapers. If your child gets disturb put his/her nappy back on and try the next day. Keep in mind always admire and encourage your child. If your kid has started to show a concern in toilet teaching, that's great, but don't push on him to get through it. If your child gets nervous, he could start withholding his stool, which can lead to constipation and other such problems. Let your child take his time.

The toilet may seem scary, support your kid that there has nothing to be upset of. Potty training shouldn't be rushed. Both you and your baby will know when it is time. Don’t get annoyed or penalize your children if they won't use the potty. This will scare them. Assure your kids that they are doing fine. This will make them confident and they will learn fast.

With love
