As Christmas come nearer, we often cast a reflective eye back to our early days. Uncovering myself recalling events in relation to how I felt while thinking about Christmas, the gifts & dinner from mum and dad, grand pa & granny. Nearly a week sooner than the big day, Santa Claus would make a visit. It was his assignment to put up the tree and beautify it. Once Christmas Eve it self came, all family went to their community church for a service which marked presentations by the children. It was very electrifying. The anticipation of Christmas morning for many of us would happen, in the English tradition.
Christmas Day would be spent visiting aunts and uncles, where there would be a great exchange of cookies, chocolates and fruitcakes. Only remember that building reminiscences is a precious souvenir. Your memories will preserve for a lifetime but things only remain for a limited-period of time. What's essential is the time you spend & share with those whom you adore, for you never know what tomorrow holds. May all the diverse joys of Christmas be present at your home this time & many times to come.
